The River Hawks (5-12-1 overall / 2-5-1 in America East) are hoping to stop a four game slide and end the season on a winning note. Their opponents have won four straight and thrown shutouts in five of their last six contests. The Big Green are 7-4-4 overall and 3-0-3 in Ivy League play.

This Class of 2015 has been the leading edge in the transformation from Division II and the Northeast-10 Conference to the America East Conference and Division I competition. The six members of the senior class have all played a role as athletes, students and leaders. They compiled a record of 23-43-8 during the four year period including two wins during a trip to the Division II NCAA National Tournament.

The SeniorsGoalkeeper Jane HatzikonstantisHatzikonstantis has played in 36 games in her career with a Goals Against Average of 1.68 and a .751 Save Percentage and ten shutouts to her credit. As a freshman, she was named to the Northeast-10 Conference All Rookie Team.  Her coach describes her as an outstanding leader who has had a huge impact on the program.

Midfielder Sarah RayeRaye, a fifth year senior, is one of the River Hawks tri-captains. Described by her coach as "the embodiment of UMass Lowell soccer with her blue collar approach," Raye has eight career goals and 19 points.  She has been a leader on and off the field.

Forward Brittany RussoRusso has, according to her coach, "grown from a good teammate to a team leader." An aggressive and athletic offensive player, Russo has 14 career goals and 29 points. She scored UMass Lowell's first Division I goal. She was the Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Year in 2010.

Goalkeeper Jill CarlsonCarlson has played in 45 games in her four year career with a Goals Against Average of 1.78 and a .719 Save Percentage. She has three shutouts this season and eight in her career. Her coach describes her as "coming up big at big moments." She is a vocal leader on the field and described as the "Den Mother."

Forward Emily BrackenBracken is, according to her coach, an "unflappable hard worker" who always puts the team first. She has battled injuries and leads by example. Two of her three career goals, including the game winner against Siena, have come this season.

Midfielder Haley BensonBenson, one of the team's tri-captains, is the grinder in the group.  "A tireless worker in the midfield," according to her coach, she has battled back from major surgery. She has played in 50 games in her career and is playing the best soccer of her life and will be sorely missed.

Last Time OutUMass Lowell lost to Yale, 3-1Â The River Hawks, on the road, outshot Yale 10-7, but were unable to find the back of the net more than once.Â

Dartmouth Defeated Harvard, 2-0Dartmouth got two goals from Corey Delaney to top the Crimson, 2-0.Â

Taylor Chianese has found the back of the net most often with three goals. She had the game winning goals against Delaware State and St. Bonaventure. Senior captain

Jill Carlson, who picked up wins against Siena, St. Bonaventure and Vermont, carries a 1.80 goals against average and a .734 save percentage into the match. Senior keeper
Jane Hatzikonstantis (Tewksbury, Mass.) has seen limited action, but with success. She has a 2.34 goals against average and a .633 save percentage, got credit for the victory against Delaware State after Carlson sustained an injury during the first half.
