POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (Sept. 7, 2013) – The UMass Lowell volleyball team suffered a three set loss to Dartmouth Saturday morning in the second round of the Marist College Volley in the Valley at the McCann Arena.
 
The match scores were 16-25, 21-25 and 19-25.
 
UMass Lowell falls to 0-4, while Dartmouth improves to 1-1. The River Hawks have little time to rest as they are back at it tonight against Marist at 6:00 p.m.
 
Junior MH Anisa Smith (Moraga, Calif.) led the offense with nine kills, to go along with two blocks and aces. Junior OH Ella Merrill (Bermuda Dunes, Calif) had six kills and seven digs. Junior setter Kamiren Humphrey (Tucson, Ariz.) continues to led the River Hawks with 13 assist.
 
Freshman OH Molly Kornfeind led Dartmouth with 14 kills while junior libero Holly Harper had team high 12 digs.
