th in a field of 133 runners to lead the UMass Lowell women's cross country team to 26
th at the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association (NEICAAA) Championship Saturday at Franklin Park.

UMass Lowell scored 667 points (90, 97, 123, 152, 205 – 212, 236) and placed 18
th among NCAA Division I schools. New Hampshire won the team title with 57 points while Connecticut placed second with 167. Yale (180), Boston University (186) and Middlebury College (192) rounded out the top five.

The field consisted of 283 runners representing 43 NCAA Division I, II and III teams.

Solemnize ran the 5K course in 19:00 flat and was 15
th among freshmen in the 283-runner field. Butler was close behind in 97
th with a time of 19:07 and freshman

nd in 19:34 while freshman
Renee Vigneault (Amesbury, Mass.) placed 205

th in 20:26 while freshman
Jennifer Pisarik (Chelmsford, Mass.) placed 236
th in 20:48 to cap UMass Lowell's seven.

Junior Rosa Moriello of Boston University won the individual title with a time of 17:13, posting a 14-second lead on senior runner-up Eimear Black of Bryant (17:27).
