BOSTON – After a pair of excellent performances during a 2-0 week, junior Justin Godbout-Garon (Québec City, Canada) has been named the America East Offensive Player of the Week, while junior Louis Dufraiche (Pluherlin, France) was named the America East Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday afternoon.

Dufraiche helped anchor a defensive unit that allowed only one goal in the team's two games last week. Beyond playing a crucial role on the defensive end, the junior recorded an assist on Godbout-Garon's goal against Manhattan, before coming up clutch and scoring the go-ahead goal in the 90^th minute, heading in a corner kick in the final seconds to help the River Hawks win their third straight match.

For his efforts, Dufraiche was also named the River Hawk of the Week.

Godbout-Garon, Dufraiche, and the River Hawks are back in action this Saturday, September 26, when they visit the UMBC Retrievers to open up conference play.
