Seniors Nicole Giaquinto (Winthrop, Mass.) and Craig Bennett (Milton, Mass.) were named UMass Lowell’s Northwestern Mutual Athletes of the Week Wednesday after each capturing two events at the Boston University Multi-Team Invitational Thursday night at the BU Track and Tennis Center. 

Giaquinto won both the 200 and 400 meter dash. She ran the 200 meter dash with a time of 25.06 seconds and captured the 400 meter dash with a time of 57.04 seconds.

Bennett also won two events, the 200 and 500 meter dash. He won the 500 meter dash with a time of 1:05.36 and the 200 meter dash in 22.38 seconds.

UMass Lowell returns to Boston University Friday, Jan. 25 for the Terrier Invitational.
