unior Brandon Riley (Weymouth, Mass.) of the UMass Lowell men's indoor track and field team has been named River Hawk of the Week after his performance at the 2026 America East Indoor Track and Field Championships. 

The multi-event athlete helped the team to their fourth overall conference championship and first since 2023 by standing out in three different events. He earned a bronze medal in three different events to pick up 18 total points for the River Hawks. First, he claimed third in the long jump on day one of the event with a personal-best 7.05m jump, before finishing in third place in the 60m hurdles on day two with a personal-best time of 8.21. He also competed in the heptathlon, racking up 5,232 points and proving his versatility for his third bronze medal of the weekend.
