LOWELL, Mass. – After scoring two goals in a three-goal comeback win over Dartmouth, Julia Edholm has been named the River Hawk of the Week.
The River Hawks hosted Dartmouth on Sunday afternoon and found themselves in a 2-0 hole before Edholm’s diving header in the 23rd minute, her first goal as a River Hawk, cut the deficit to one. The senior scored her second goal of the game just before the half, another header, to tie the game. Edholm finished the game with three shots as UMass Lowell completed the 3-2 comeback over the Big Green.
The "River Hawk of the Week" is chosen in voting by the UMass Lowell Athletic Communications staff. It honors the top athlete, male or female, based on performance during the previous week of competition.
