Biography
AS A SENIOR (2018): Lade was named Tri-Captain for the 2018 season alongside Erica Cappellino and Lindsey Visvardis. She played in all 26 of the River Hawks games and leads the team with a total of 58 blocks throughout her senior campaign. She ranked third on the team with 163 kills. Adeniyi obtained a career-high of 18 kills on Sept 1. vs. Farleigh Dickinson. Adeniyi was also voted as America East Volleyball Fans’ Choice Player of the Year Award for 2018.
AS A JUNIOR (2017): She posted 109 kills in 22 matches and 68 sets in her junior campaign for the River Hawks, to go along with a team-best 62 total blocks (13s,49a). Notched 10+ kills twice on the season, including a career-high 14 kills on October 13th vs. Hartford at Costello Athletic Center. Had a season-high 11 blocks (2s,9a) on Sept. 22nd vs. New Hampshire. Posted four blocks or more on seven occasions for the River Hawks. Adeniyi's 0.91 blocks per contest was fifth best among America East players and her 1.03 blocks per game in America East play was also fifth among league players.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2016): Adeniyi ranked fifth on the team with 105 kills and 1.36 kills per set, playing in 23 matches and 77 sets in her sophomore campaign. She also ranked third on the River Hawks with 62 total blocks (9s,53a). Adeniyi finished the season recording 5+ kills in nine matches, which includes posting a season-high 12 kills on September 24th vs. Hartford. She totaled a career-high 12 total blocks (2s,10a) on September 10th at Boston College. Had 3+ blocks in nine contests for the River Hawks. Ranked ninth among America East players with 0.81 blocks per set and 11th in conference play with 0.82 blocks per frame.
AS A FRESHMAN (2015): Adeniyi finished the year playing in a team-high 111 sets and was one of three River Hawks to play in all 31 matches. She notched 188 kills and 80 total blocks, both of which ranked second on the UMass Lowell roster, to go along with 27 digs and 11 service aces. She notched a season-high 13 kills on October 25th vs. Quinnipiac and amassed a career-high seven blocks on September 29th vs. Bryant. Had 10+ kills on five occasions and three or more blocks in 13 contests. Her 0.72 blocks per set in all matches was ninth best among America East players.
HIGH SCHOOL: Two-year varsity player at Glenwood High School ... also played soccer ... named Best Defesive Player her senior year ... earned Academic All-Conference and Athletic All-Conference honors ... Student Council member and class president.
PERSONAL: One of three children of Renee Snow and Jimi Adeniyi of Springfield, Ill. ... enjoys baking, watching movies/Netflix and hanging out with friends ... favorite shows are Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, The Voice and America's Next Top Model ... lists the New England Patriots and Chicago Bulls as her favorite teams ....
