AS A SENIOR: Appeared in 23 matches (67 games) • Had career highs in digs (57) and service aces (11) • Had eight digs in a 3-0 win over Post (9/14) • Recorded three service aces in a 3-1 setback to Adelphi (10/19). 

AS A JUNIOR: Appeared in nine matches (12 games) • Totaled four digs • Recorded two  kills in a 3-0 win versus Assumption (10/20).

AS A SOPHOMORE: Appeared in 10 matches (28 games) with one start • Had 13 digs and three service aces • Amassed a season-high five digs in a win against Queens (9/17).

BEFORE LOWELL:Four-year varsity player with North Quincy High School • Served as captain during her senior year while earning Patriot League All-Conference honors • As a junior, helped guide the team to a 22-0 record.

PERSONAL: Ashley Ann Kostka is one of four children of Pamela and Phil Kostka of Quincy, Mass. • Plans to become a homicide detective for the Massachusetts State Police • Chose UML because of its proximity to home and great education • Names the Boston Red Sox as her favorite team and Kevin Youkilis as her favorite player • Listens to Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood and Lady Antebellum • Majoring in Criminal Justice.
