Brookshire was also named to the America East All-Academic Team.

Novak led the 2023 River Hawks to a sixth consecutive postseason appearance and a second America East Championship game in five years. The River Hawks defeated No. 5-seeded NJIT 3-1 at home before knocking off top-seeded and regular season champion Binghamton on the road to earn a spot in the title game. Senior Calliste Brookshire, fifth-year Julia Edholm and redshirt-senior Taylor Burgess were named to the All-Tournament team following the championship game. Brookshire was also named to the America East All-Conferene Second Team and the All-Academic Team.
