GROTON-DUNSTABLE REGIONAL HIGH SCHOOL: Played four years of varsity basketball at Groton Dunstable Regional High School for Mark Hennelly • Three-time Midland Wachusett Most Valuable Player • Captain as a senior • Finished with 1,042 career points and 669 rebounds • Three-time Lowell Sun All-Star • Two-time Worcester Telegram & Gazette Super Team.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Maureen and Edwin McCarron of Groton, Mass. • Has two older brothers • Hobbies include playing the piano and reading • Chose UMass Lowell because of the school’s academic reputation and the great River Hawks coaching staff.
