Bill Vasko is in his fourth year at UMass Lowell in 2017-18. He previously served as an assistant softball coach at Quinnipiac University for one season. Additionally, Vasko was the head softball coach at NCAA Division II Wheeling Jesuit University in West Virginia from 2008 to 2011. During his time there, he was elected to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division II Recruiting Committee, serving as the NCAA Division II chairperson in 2010-11.
Prior to his time at Wheeling Jesuit, Vasko was the athletic director and co-head softball coach at Buckeye Trail High School in Lore City, Ohio from 2002-2008. Vasko's other coaching experience includes a stint at Muskingum University in New Concord, Ohio (1999-2002) where he was the assistant baseball coach and strength & conditioning coordinator. Vasko held the same position at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio (1995-98), as well as serving as an assistant football coach. Vasko also held assistant football coach positions at Denison University (1999), Otterbein College (1998) and Ohio Wesleyan University (1994), in addition to an undergraduate assistant football coach position at The Ohio State University (1992-93).
