Outdoor track
Won the shot put at the UMass Lowell Invitational…  Finished seventh in the shot at the Shamrock Invitational…
 
2016-17
Indoor track
Recorded a personal best in the 500-meters, 1:02.87, to finish third at the America East Indoor Championships…  Finished fourth in the 500-meters at the Beantown Challenge…  Won the 300-meters at the Alden invitational…
 
Outdoor track
Won the America East Outdoor Championships with a throw of 53’ 5.5”…  Grabbed first place with a personal best throw of 55’ 02” at the Ocean State Invitational… 
 
2015-16
Indoor Track       
Fiorella finished in 2^nd place at the 2015 Jay Carisella Track & Field Invitational with a 51' 6.5" shot put... His shot put mark of 50' 10" at the Tufts Invite #1 earned him 1^st place... At the Boston University Mulit Team Meet his 51' 9.75" shot put was good enough for 2^nd place... A 49' 9.75" shot put at the 48th NEICAAA Indoor Track & Field Championships got him a 9^th place finish...
 
Outdoor Track    
At the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational he had a personal best discus throw of 128' 3"... He finished in 2^nd place at the UMass Lowell Invitational with a discus throw of 130' 2"... Also at the UMass Lowell Invitational he had a shot put mark of 50' 5.25" netting him 1^st place...

Indoor Track       
At Fiorello’s first event of the season, the shot put at the Brown University Alden Invitational, he had a mark of 50’ 9.25” earning him second place… At the 2014 Jay Carisella Track & Field Invitational he came in third place with a shot put throw of 51’ 7.75”… He came in first place at the Tufts Invite #1 with a shot put mark of 51’ 10”… He finished the Boston University Multi-Team Meet in second place with a shot put mark of 50’ 8.25”… A personal best shot put mark of 52’ 11.5” earned him first place at the 2015 Dartmouth Indoor Classic… At the all-important America East Indoor Track & Field Championships he came in fifth place with a shot put mark of 48’ 2.5”…
 
Outdoor Track    
He had a discus throw of 113’ 11” at the XIX Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational… He also had a javelin throw of 158’ 1” at the XIX Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational…
 
2013-14
 
Indoor Track       
In his first event, the shot put at the Boston University Season Opener, he recorded a mark of 45’ 4.5” that earned him fourth place… In only his third event of the season, he came in first for a shot put mark of 46’ 1.5” at the Tiger's All Comers Meet… At the Boston University Limited Open he finished third place with a shot put mark of 47’ 4.5”… He had a shot put mark of 48’ 8”, a season indoor best, at the Tufts Cupid Challenge, good enough for sixth place… His shot put park of 48’ 1.25” earned him eighth place at the NEICAAA Indoor Track & Field Championships…
 
Outdoor Track    
At the Shamrock Invitational 2014 he has a personal best javelin throw of 173’ 4”… He earned first place at the 2014 Colonial Relays with a shot put mark of 46’ 7.5”… In the 4x1 at the George Davis Invitational T&F Meet he finished in fifth with a time of 50.75… At the 2014 UNH Wildcat Invitational II, he had a shot put mark of 46’ 11.5” good enough for second place… He finished ninth in the NEICAAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships with a shot put mark of 49’ 10”… He concluded the season with a personal best discus throw of 107’ 5” at the 2014 New Balance Boston Twilight Meet #2…
 
 
Tewksbury High School: MVC Champion in Shot Put… Fifth at New England Meet… High honors in all of his four years…

Personal: Son of Ron and Betul Fiorello of Tewksbury, MA... He goes by the nickname Fio… His favorite hobby is reading… His favorite TV Show is Sons of Anarchy… He lists his favorite sports teams as the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, Boston Celtics and Boston Bruins… One of his greatest influences is Ulf Timmermann… Calls throwing 16.14 meters at the Dartmouth Invitational his greatest sports moment… Chose UMass Lowell because of its engineering program and track team… Hopes to work as an engineer and keep up his athletics… Majoring in Electrical Engineering…
