Biography

AS A SENIOR: Played in all 16 matches with a team-high five goals.

AS A JUNIOR: 2009 Northeast-10 Third Team All-Conference standout • Played/started in 13 of 16 matches with a team-high six goals and one assist • Missed final three matches due to a foot injury • Season-highs include one goal and one assist in a 3-2 win over 2008 NCAA finalist Dowling; and both goals in a 2-0 win over New Haven.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Saw action in 20 games with 15 starts • Led all River Hawks with nine goals and six assists • Ranked among Northeast-10 Conference leaders in points (fourth, 24) and goals (tied for fourth) • Enjoyed back-to-back multiple-goal games with two goals apiece in a 3-2 win over Saint Rose and a 2-1 win at Assumption • Scored three game-winners.

AS A FRESHMAN: Played in 20 games on the year, making two starts • Tallied four goals on the year, including two in a 7-0 shutout of Saint Rose • Also added an assist in a 4-1 win over LeMoyne.

WILMINGTON H.S.: Played varsity soccer for Steve Scanlon and Chip Bruce at Wilmington High School • Earned All-Conference and All-State honors • Voted team[apos]s Most Valuable Player • Holds WHS record for most goals in a season (28).

PERSONAL: One of three children of Ann Marie and Greg Potcner of Wilmington, Mass. • Lists the Pittsburgh Steelers as his favorite professional team.
