River Hawks Picked Sixth in Preseason Poll

BOSTON – With the 2026 campaign only a few weeks out, the UMass Lowell men's soccer team was picked to finish sixth in the America East Preseason Coaches' Poll, as announced by the conference on Tuesday afternoon.
The 2025 conference runner-up Bryant Bulldogs claimed the top spot in the poll, earning 47 points and six of seven possible first-place votes. Only three points behind them, Vermont was selected second with 44 points, while New Hampshire rounded out the top three with 34 points. In fourth, UAlbany totaled 33 points, UMBC sat fifth with 27 points, while UMass Lowell was next in the rankings with 19 points.
This year's squad is ready to compete and looks to take another jump forward this season. The season kicks off on August 20 when the River Hawks visit the University of the Incarnate Word at 7 p.m.
