CAREER: Appeared in 55 games throughout his career, including 34 starts…Amassed 78 points off 45 career goals and 33 assists…Registered two game-winners during his five seasons on the field …Scored five man-up goals during his time at UMass Lowell…Picked up 64 groundballs and caused 13 turnovers … Named to the 2022 America East All-Academic Team … Captain of the 2021 and 2022 team.

AS A GRADUATE STUDENT (2022): Named a captain of the 2022 River Hawks squad … Started all 13 games as a graduate student … Ended the year with a career-high in points with 28 coming off 15 goals and a team-high 13 assists … Finished 10^th in the conference in assists per game (1.00)…Knocked in a career-best single-game high four points off three goals and an assist against Stony Brook (3/16) … Tabbed to the 2022 America East All-Academic Team.
 
AS A SENIOR (2021): Appeared in all nine games for the River Hawks, with seven starts…Ended the season with 13 points off five goals and eight assists…Tied for third on the team in points and second on the team in assists…Put up a season-high three points this season off a pair of goals and an assist in back-to-back contests (vs. Hartford 3/13; vs. Stony Brook 3/20).

AS A JUNIOR (2020):
**Season shortened due to COVID-19** Appeared in all seven games, making three starts … notched six goals and two assists for eight points … recorded 27 shots with 16 on goal for a .546 shot on goal percentage … collected nine ground balls and two caused turnovers.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2019): He ranked fourth on the team in scoring with 26 points (17g,9a) in 14 games and 11 starts ... his 17 goals and 70 shots were the third best total on the team ... registered six multi-goal games and posted a career-high four goals at Hartford on Apr. 6. 

AS A FRESHMAN (2018): Giachello played in 12 games during his freshman season ... recorded two goals for the River Hawks and 1one assist ... Giachello tallied seven shots on goal, with a shots on goal percentage of .636 ... earned six ground balls throughout the season.

High School: Played soccer and lacrosse at Somers High School … named Somers High School Athlete of the Year, All-American watch list, Hartford Courant Player of the Year, conference MVP, state championship MVP, and led all midfielders in state in points during senior campaign … named First-Team All-State in his senior and junior campaigns … part of lacrosse state championship team in senior and junior years … Rookie of the Year in freshman campaign … member of National Honors Society and Academic All-State in high school.
