2007-08 - Freshman Year:
Played in 36 games and totaled three goals and five assists for eight points ... Recorded an assist for the second straight game with a helper against Vermont (2/22) ... Recorded first two assists for first career multi-point game in a 6-0 win over Maine in the championship game of the Florida College Classic (12/29) ... Scored third goal of the season in a 3-2 win over New Hampshire (12/1) ... Scored first career goal, the game-winner, in UML[apos]s 4-1 win over Alabama Huntsville (10/26) ... Made collegiate debut at Massachusetts (10/19) ... Named to the Hockey East All-Academic Team.

Before UMass Lowell
Played for the Bridgewater Bandits of the EJHL in 2006-07 and had nine goals and 27 assists for 36 points in 44 games ... Played for and was captain of the Oswego Admirals of the OPJHL in 2005-06... Had 45 points on 18 goals and 27 assists in 49 games for the Admirals ... Participated in the USA Select Festivals (14[apos]s, 15[apos]s, 16[apos]s and 17[apos]s) ... Also played for the New York Bobcats of the AJHL, where he finished second in the league in scoring and was named to the all-star team.

Jason William DeLuca was born on October 9, 1987 in East Moriches, New York ... Is the son of William and Margaret DeLuca ... Has two sibblings: Nicole and Christopher ... Graduated from Westhampton Beach High School in 2005 ... List winning state championships in 2002 and 2003 as his greatest sports moments ... Chose UML because of the coaches and the great opportunity the school provided ... Favorite NHL team is the New York Rangers and Adam Graves is his favorite athlete ...
