Played in eight games ... Did not record a point and had a minus-1 rating ... Recorded five shots on goal ... Made season debut at Merrimack (2/6) ... Registered a plus or even rating in six of eight games ... UML was 4-2-2 with DeLuca in the lineup and undefeated (2-0-1)when he recorded a shot on goal ... Named to the Hockey East All-Academic Team.
2008-09 - Sophomore Year:
Appeared in five games ... Did not record a point and had a plus-1 rating with two penalty minutes ... Made season debut at Michigan State (10/16).
2007-08 - Freshman Year:
Played in 36 games and totaled three goals and five assists for eight points ... Recorded an assist for the second straight game with a helper against Vermont (2/22) ... Recorded first two assists for first career multi-point game in a 6-0 win over Maine in the championship game of the Florida College Classic (12/29) ... Scored third goal of the season in a 3-2 win over New Hampshire (12/1) ... Scored first career goal, the game-winner, in UML[apos]s 4-1 win over Alabama Huntsville (10/26) ... Made collegiate debut at Massachusetts (10/19) ... Named to the Hockey East All-Academic Team.
Before UMass Lowell
Played for the Bridgewater Bandits of the EJHL in 2006-07 and had nine goals and 27 assists for 36 points in 44 games ... Played for and was captain of the Oswego Admirals of the OPJHL in 2005-06... Had 45 points on 18 goals and 27 assists in 49 games for the Admirals ... Participated in the USA Select Festivals (14[apos]s, 15[apos]s, 16[apos]s and 17[apos]s) ... Also played for the New York Bobcats of the AJHL, where he finished second in the league in scoring and was named to the all-star team.
