Biography

CAREER: Started 49 of 65 career games … totaled four goals and seven assists for 15 career points … logged 19 shots, including 10 on goal, for a career .526 shot on-goal percentage.
 
AS A SENIOR (2019): Team captain … started all 12 games she appeared in … missed the final three games of the season due to injury … tied a personal best with two goals … added one assist for five total points on the year … logged nine shots, including six on goal, for a .667 shot on-goal percentage … scored first goal of the season in season opener (8.30) … named to the America East Fall Honor Roll.

AS A JUNIOR (2018): Appeared in 17 games with 16 starts … recorded a career-high two goals and added two assists for six points … finished the season with three shots, including two on goal, for a shot on goal percentage of .667 ... tallied her first career goal against Sacred Heart (9.16).
 
AS A SOPHOMORE (2017): 
Started 18 of 20 games played … recorded a personal-best three assists for three points … took two shots, one being on goal, for a .500 shot on goal percentage.

AS A FRESHMAN (2016): Appeared in 16 games with three starts ... logged her first career point with an assist against Saint Louis (9.18) ... registered five shots, including one on goal, for a .200 shot on goal percentage.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year varsity team member at Bordentown … senior captain … team MVP … three-time All-BCSL First Team selection … two-time All-South Jersey and All-Group 1 Second Team honoree … totaled 22 goals and 10 assists in her final season en route to a First-Team All-Area nod from the Trenton Times … South Jersey and  Burlington County Senior All-Star … notched 10 goals and 12 assists as a junior … twice appeared in the U19 Futures National Championship … won the U19 gold medal at the Disney Showcase with her club team in 2015 … also played basketball … Honor Roll student … Student Council member.
 
PERSONAL: Daughter of Wayne Irons and Jill O'Connell … has one younger brother (Matthew) … mother played field hockey and lacrosse at The College of New Jersey … father played baseball at Philadelphia University … enjoys spending time with family and going to the beach … favorite professional sports team is the Philadelphia Eagles … chose UMass Lowell for the academics and family atmosphere of the field hockey program … majoring in business administration.
