Cushing Award • Daktronics Division II Baseball All-East Region First Team • NCBWA All-East Region Second Team • ABCA All-Region First Team • NE-10 All-Conference First Team • Started all 47 games • Ranked among the NE-10 leaders in doubles (8th, 14), RBI (9th, 45) and hits (11th, 69) • Led the River Hawks with a .363 batting average • Also hit three homeruns, two triples and scored 40 runs • On the mound he went 4-3 with a 5.52 ERA and stuck out 22 • Highlights include 2-for-6 day with two home runs, five RBI and two runs scored including the walk off three run home run in the bottom of the ninth to give the River Hawks a 10-7 win over St. Thomas Aquinas (2/26) • Pitched seven innings and allowed a run while stricking out a five batters in 11-3 win over Saint Rose Pace (3/24).
AS A JUNIOR: Named to the Notheast-10 All-Conference First Team • Selected to American Baseball Coaches Association All-East Region First Team • Played in the NEIBA All-Star Game at LeLacheur Park • Lead NE-10 in RBI with 53 • Led the club in batting average (.328), home runs (6),hits (64), doubles (14), total bases (100), slugging percentage (.513) and on-base percentage (.409) • Highlights include 4-for-5 day with four RBI, two home runs and three runs scored including a game-winning home run in the bottom of the ninth to propel UMass Lowell to a 7-6 victory against Post (4/27).
AS A SOPHOMORE: Named to the Northeast-10 All-Conference First Team • Selected to the ABCA Division II All-East Region First Team and the Daktronics Division II All-East Region Second Team • Played in the NEIBA All-Star Game at Fenway Park • Led the River Hawks with a .313 batting average (56-for-179) while starting all 46 games • Recorded a team-best 43 RBI • Also scored 34 runs, hit five home runs and stole six bases • Highlights included 3-for-4 day with four RBI, two doubles and a run scored against Dowling (3/16) • Also was 2-for-5 with two home runs and four RBI against Adelphi (5/1).
AS A FRESHMAN: Appeared in 10 games in field with four starts, also saw action in six games on the mound with one start • Highlights include an RBI and a run in the season opening win over C.W. Post (16-0).
TRITON REGIONAL H.S.: Two-year player at Triton Regional H.S. for coach Steve Padovani • Cape Ann League Most Valuable Player in 2008 • CAL All-Star as a junior and senior • Batted .520 with 25 RBI and posted a 4-2 record on the mound as a senior • Also played for Newburyport Post 150 Legion team • Helped Post 150 to league title and an appearance in the state tournament • Also a member of the golf team, led Triton to CAL title as a senior • MIAA Divsiion II state championship medalist.
