THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE OF UMASS LOWELL ATHLETICS

DEI Header

The UMass Lowell Department of Athletics strives to be a leader in diversity, equity and inclusion, not just on campus but in our region and beyond. Diversity is an essential part of our identity, our mission and our core values with our student-athletes, coaches, staff and community members. We are committed to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion, amongst our student-athletes, our athletic staff and beyond.

As Chancellor Moloney stated, "We know that diversity enhances all aspects of campus life. We embrace all intersectional identities, experiences and perspectives. We believe that cultural competency is essential to our mission of 'learning with purpose' by providing a foundation for meaningful exploration and a vigorous exchange of ideas. We are committed to maintaining an inclusive campus by accepting challenges and recognizing that we all have a responsibility to foster a learning environment that is free from discrimination."
