DeCitise Adds Another Weekly Honor

BOSTON – UMass Lowell junior Olivia DeCitise (Troy, N.Y.) was named America East Pitcher of the Week, as announced by the conference on Tuesday afternoon.
DeCitise turned in a dominant weekend in the circle, going 2–0 with a 0.00 ERA across 13.1 innings while striking out 18 batters and allowing just four hits. She opened the series with a complete-game effort in a 2–1 win over Maine, limiting the Black Bears to one hit while striking out eight.
DeCitise followed with another commanding outing in the series finale, striking out 10 batters across 6.1 innings while allowing just three hits to help secure an 8–4 victory and clinch the series for the River Hawks.
Across her two appearances, DeCitise held opposing hitters to a .100 batting average while consistently working deep into games, anchoring the staff in Lowell's conference series win.
The honor marks DeCitise's fourth America East weekly pitching honor of the season.
