Tow was the lone baserunner in the top of the first of game one, as she drew a walk and quickly stole second. It was also quiet through the second and third innings, with the River Hawks limiting the opposition to just two hits.

The River Hawks were unable to grab insurance runs in the top of the seventh, hoping their defense would be enough in the bottom of the inning to take the win.
