BOSTON, Mass. – An impressive display in her first collegiate games has earned freshman Isabel Quintanilla (Puyallup, Wash.) her first America East Rookie of the Week honor, as reported by the league office Tuesday afternoon. 

The infielder started all four games for the River Hawks this past weekend at the Lion Classic, collecting three hits, three RBI, two runs scored, and a .563 on-base percentage. She capped off the weekend by connecting on a pitch and crushing it to deep left center, clearing the fence for a two-run home run, the first of her collegiate career.

This is the team's first Rookie of the Week nod in 2024.
