UMass Lowell Athletics Announces New Benefit Structure for UIB Fundraising Unit

LOWELL, Mass. - In recognition of the generous philanthropic efforts of its athletic supporters, UMass Lowell has reintroduced the United In Blue Fund with added levels and benefits.

"As our passionate donor base continues to grow, we recognize that we also need to grow our benefits to provide them with the great experiences they deserve within River Hawk Nation," explained Senior Associate Athletic Director Eric Allen. "With membership levels as low as $25, plus the ability to offer flexible payment plans, we hope we have allowed donors to get involved at a level they are comfortable with, while also knowing that every dollar they invest with us will help our student-athletes succeed."

The addition of the Director's Club Level will now give donors the opportunity to join the UMass Lowell Athletics staff and head coaches at premier events, while also enjoying the many benefits of the United In Blue Fund.Â

The United In Blue Fund is a key component to the success of UMass Lowell Athletics. By contributing to the United In Blue Fund, you are investing in the River Hawks' 14 Division I athletic programs, as well as much needed capital projects to help the university's more than 450 student-athletes compete at their best in the America East and Hockey East.Â

"We want to set our coaches and student-athletes up to be able to compete for championships every year, and in order to accomplish this, we have to continue to raise the bar," added Director of Athletics Peter Casey. "We hope that by reintroducing the United In Blue Fund and by adding additional benefits, we will maintain and grow our amazing donor base."
