LOWELL, Mass. – The UMass Lowell women's basketball team (6-10, 3-4 AE) is set to take on the Hartford Hawks (2-17, 2-6 AE) on Monday night. Tip-off is slated for 6 p.m. at the Chase Arena.

Shamyjha Price (Pittsburgh, Penn.) added 11 points and two assists. Sophomore
Jaini Edmonds (Worcester, Mass.) and junior
Kaylen Banwareesingh (Bronx, N.Y.) each added seven points for the River Hawks.
SCOUTING THE HAWKS
Hartford enters Monday's matchup after falling to UAlbany 53-24 on February 5. The Hawks have lost four of their five games this season. Both wins for Hartford came in conference play against Binghamton (59-57) and UAlbany (52-49) earlier in the year. Paula Maurina (10.9 ppg) and Abby Streeter (10.5 ppg) lead the team in scoring. As a unit, the Hawks are shooting 34% from the field and 28% from behind the arc this season.
A WIN WOULD
A win would snap a three-game losing skid for the River Hawks. A win would also be a fifth consecutive win over Hartford dating back to the 2019-20 season.

Junior
Denise Solis (Windsor, Conn.) is averaging a team-high 9.3 points per game, picking up a team-best 70 boards, and a team-high nine blocks.
Kharis Idom averages 9.3 points per game and made a team-high 22 three-pointers this season.

Ivory Finley (16), and Edmonds (14) have tallied double-digit steals this season. Nine River Hawks have tallied at least 20 rebounds this season, and eleven players have tallied double-digit boards through fourteen games this season. Idom also leads the team with 31 assists on the season, with Edmonds and Rodriguez dishing out 25 and 20 dimes, respectively.

Kharis Idom, Janai Edmonds, and sophomore
Leilani Rodriguez (Worcester, Mass.) lead the team with double-digit assists each through fifteen games this season. Idom has tallied 31 dimes, while Edmonds has 26 and Rodriguez has recorded 20.

THREES COMPANY
The River Hawks scored a season-high 11 three pointers against UMBC, shooting 11-18 for 61% from beyond the arc. It is the most three pointers scored in a single game by UMass Lowell since the team hit 10 against UMBC on February 18, 2017.
BOARDS GALORE
The River Hawks have tallied a total of 512 rebounds this season. The team averages 32.0 rebounds per game with the sixth best rebounding margin in the league.
BLOCK PARTY
The River Hawks have tallied 43 blocks in sixteen games this season. Freshman
Amaya Dowdy (Woonsocket, R.I.) leads the team with 12 blocks on the year, while
Denise Solis has nine. Seven other River Hawks have tallied at least one block this season. The team ranks eighth in the league with 2.5 blocks per game.
IDOM ON THE PRIZE
After picking up 10 points against Cornell on December 1,
Kharis Idom became the fourth River Hawk in the Division I era to surpass 800 career points. She sits fourth in all-time points in the Division I era at UMass Lowell.
