Biography

AS A JUNIOR (2021-22): Played and started in all 26 appearances, averaging 24.8 minutes per game…Registered 238 points (9.2 ppg) which was second best on the team, 116 rebounds (4.5 rpg) which was also second best on the team, 15 blocks once again was second best on the team, 21 steals, 30 assists, and a team best 56 free throws made…Tallied a team high 22 points in a game against NJIT (2.21)…Another team high came in her best game of the season coming off of Massachusetts (12.5), where she registered 20 points, 14 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocks…Named to America East Preseason All-Conference Team.
 
AS A SOPHOMORE (2020-21): Played and started in 19 games for 552 minutes…Scored 220 points, averaging 11.6 per game…Shot 56% from the field and 68% from the free throw line…Picked up 113 rebounds (5.9 RPG)…Dished out 21 assists (1.1 APG) and had 20 blocks and 22 steals.

AS A FRESHMAN (2019-20): Only River Hawk to start in all 31 games for an average of 26.8 minutes per game … first career double-double against Farleigh Dickinson (12.29), recording a career-high 21 points and 14 rebounds … led the team in rebounds with 166 (5.4 rpg) on the season … added 33 assists for 1.3 assists per game … recorded the team’s season-high free throws made with 11 against Massachusetts (11.14).

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-sport athlete (basketball, track, and volleyball) … three-time All-Conference Player and All-Academic CCC Player … named New Haven Register All-Area, CHSCA All-State, and earned Coaches Award as a senior … inducted into National Honors Society and Spanish Honor Society
 
PERSONAL: Daughter of Benibel Carrion and Daniel Solis of Windsor, Conn… has one sibling … mother played for Puerto Rican National Women’s Basketball team… enjoys watching Netflix and going to the movies or mall … favorite TV shows include Grey’s Anatomy, Good Girls, Law and Order: SVU … names USA National Women’s Basketball Team as favorite sports team … favorite sports figures are Napheesa Collier, DeWanna Bonner, Nneka Ogwumike, and her mother … greatest sports moment is winning a championship with AAU team … nursing major.
