LOWELL, Mass. – Thirteen River Hawks have been named All American Scholars by the American Hockey Coaches Association. The announcement was made this morning.
UMass Lowell, with 13, topped Hockey East. Only two schools in the country had more honorees; AIC and Robert Morris each had 14. "The sport demands a great deal from these athletes so it is a great statement they make, individually and collectively, with their ability to attain this level of academic achievement."
