RIVERSIDE, Calif. -- The UMass Lowell Volleyball team fell to UC-Riverside in straight sets on Saturday afternoon at SRC Arena. The set scores were 14-25, 18-25 and 15-25.
The River Hawks drop to 0-3 overall on the season, while the Highlanders improve to 2-0 on the young season.

Ariel Dulaney (Bay Minette, Ala.) led the way for the River Hawks with eight kills and a career-high 15 digs. Senior libero
Lindsey Visvardis (Homer Glen, Ill.) chipped in with 13 digs on defense. Sophomore outside hitter
Morgan Given (Orlando, Fla.) chipped in with five kills and a team-best .231 hitting percentage.
Redshirt sophomore
Malia Randolph (McDonough, Ga.) recorded 20 assists and eight digs in her first collegiate start for the River Hawks.
The River Hawks posted a team-best 10 kills in the second frame of the match.
