LOWELL, Mass. -- UMass Lowell Women's Soccer Head Coach
Francesco D'Agostino has resigned his position to accept another college coaching opportunity.
"I want to thank UMass Lowell for my four and a half years working with the men's and women's soccer teams," said D'Agostino. "It has been a great and enjoyable experience for me. Both programs have made great strides and I wish them the very best."
D'Agostino led the River Hawks to a 5-6-6 overall record in his only season at the helm of the program, which included a 2-3-3 record (9 pts) in a seventh place tie in the America East standings.
Prior to serving as head coach of the women's team, he spent the previous three seasons as an assistant coach with the nationally ranked River Hawk men's soccer program.
Assistant Coach
Mira Novak has been named interim head coach while a national search for a permanent head coach is conducted.
