LOWELL, Mass. – The UMass Lowell baseball team (22-19) suffered a 6-1 setback to the Boston College Eagles (18-25) on Senior Night at LeLacheur Park on Tuesday night.

The Eagles scored the game's first run in the third inning on a sacrifice fly by Donovan Casey, following two singles to begin the frame.

In the sixth, Boston College extended its advantage to 3-0 in the sixth on a Jake Alu RBI single and a sacrifice fly off the bat of Mitch Bigras. A wild pitch pitch on a strikeout with the bases loaded pushed the deficit to 4-0 in the seventh.
