DURHAM, N.H. -- The UMass Lowell Volleyball team fell to New Hampshire in straight sets on Friday night at Lundholm Gymnasium in America East play. The set scores were 14-25, 19-25 and 15-25.
With the loss, the River Hawks drop to 5-15 overall, 0-7 America East and the Wildcats up their mark to 10-11 overall (5-2 AE) with the victory.
Sophomores Madi Bell (Port St. Lucie, Fla.) and
Katherine Claybaugh each tallied five kills apiece to lead the River Hawks on the offensive side of the net. Claybaugh also added a team-high nine digs in the losing effort.Â

Delaney Mendez (Phoenix, Ariz.) and sophomore
McKenna Bova (Corona, Calif.) notched 14 and 13 assists, respectively.
UMass Lowell posted a match-high 12 kills as a team in the second set and hit for a .190 hitting percentage in the third frame.Â
The River Hawks return to action on Friday, October 27th against UAlbany on Camper Night. Match time from Costello Athletic Center is 7 p.m. in America East play.
