LOWELL, Mass. – The UMass Lowell men's soccer team looks to set its longest winning streak in the Division I era as the team is set to battle Quinnipiac, in the River Hawks' lone game this weekend.

River Hawk Rewind
Behind two overtime games, the River Hawks improved to 4-0 on the season, becoming one of four America East school's to remain unbeaten.
Wuilito Fernandes scores the game-winner in the 98th minute against Seton Hall, while
Ivan Abramovic (Zagreb, Croatia) converted his bicycle kick tally in the 108th minute to knock off St. Francis Brooklyn, 2-1, on September 4. Abramovic added an assist to Fernandes' goal to lead the squad with three points on the weekend, and
Carlos Ruiz (East Boston, Mass.) converted on a penalty kick for his first goal of the season against St. Francis Brooklyn. After securing the win against Seton Hall without recording a save,
Austin Kroll (Baltimore, Md.) made four stops against the Terriers.

Leading the Flock
Abramovic is atop the team leaders with three assists and nine points, while he and Fernandes both have three goals.

Joseph Conti (Annapolis, Md.),
Ivan Blaskic (Zagreb, Croatia) and
Jakov Basic (Zagreb, Croatia) have all assisted on goals so far in the season. In net, junior Kroll has allowed two goals on 39 shots, recording 10 saves and a goals against average of 0.47.

Scouting Quinnipiac
The Bobcats sit at 2-2 on the season following two consecutive wins at Fordham (1-0) and at home against Lafayette (2-0), on Sept. 2 and 4, respectively. Eamon Whelan has provided half of Quinnipiac's offense with two tallies, while Rashawn Dally has dished out two helpers. Chrysostomos Iakovidis has made three starts in net, going 2-1 with a 0.74 GAA, making 15 stops on 42 shots.

Series History
The River Hawks own a 2-1-3 advantage over the Bobcats, however this is the first since 1996. UMass Lowell won the first two meetings (1980, '82) and Quinnipiac come out on top with a 3-0 victory in the last contest.
Election Season
The River Hawks are receiving votes in the College Soccer News Top 30 poll, UMass Lowell is one of three America East schools (Vermont, New Hampshire) to receive votes this week. The squad also finds itself ranked number 3 in the east, according to the NSCAA Division I Regional Poll.

Abramovic's goal has been everywhere since Sunday, including a spot on SportsCenter's Top 10 list at number 4. The tally has appeared on Fox Soccer and is in the running for the Top Drawer Soccer Goal of the Week and America East Play of the Week.
Saving Space in the Records
Kroll now sits fourth all-time with 19 career wins and 14 career blank sheets. With 385:26 of total playing time this season, he has moved into seventh all-time with 3,595:28 minutes in a River Hawk uniform.

Abramovic has taken home consecutive America East Rookie of the Week honors (8.29-9.6) … with four wins this season, Figueroa has reached 50 wins during his coaching career at UMass Lowell.
