Scouting ManhattanThe Jaspers enter Wednesday's contest at 1-1 overall, 0-0 MAAC, after splitting a pair of decisions last week. Manhattan opened up its season with a 14-9 win at Army West Point on Feb. 12, before falling at Lafayette, 19-10, on Feb. 17. Manhattan's scoring is lead by senior Stefanie Ranagan and freshman Molly Fitzpatrick, adding six goals apiece, while Ranagan also leads the team in draw controls with 11. In net, freshman goalkeeper Nikki Prestiano owns a 1-1 record, while posting a 11.51 goals against average and a .419 save percentage.

Scouting Army West PointFirst year program, Army West Point is off to a 1-1, 0-0 Patriot League, start as the squad split a pair of contests last week. The Black Knights fell in their season opener to Manhattan, 14-9, on Feb. 12, before bouncing back to grab the program's first win, in an 8-7 victory against Central Connecticut State on Feb. 20. The team will host LIU Brooklyn on Thursday, prior to traveling to Lowell for the Sunday showdown. Freshman Nikki Polhamus leads the team with eight points (7g, 1a), while sophomore Amy Johnston is first on the team with eight draw controls, trailing closely behind Polhamus with six points (5g, 1a) of her own. Defensively, freshman goalkeeper Kayla Rowley holds a 1-1 record, while boasting a 10.50 goals against average and a .417 save percentage.

Series HistoryWednesday's contest will mark just the second meeting between Manhattan and UMass Lowell, as the Jaspers own a 1-0 advantage in the all-time series after defeating the River Hawks, 10-6, in 2015. Sunday's tilt will be the first time the River Hawks and Army West Point will battle against each on the lacrosse field.
