River Hawk RecapIn their final road game of the season, the River Hawks were downed by Dartmouth, 18-9, Tuesday night in New Hampshire. UMass Lowell was tied after a period of play, but a seven-goal second period for Dartmouth built a lead too large to overcome.
Sean Tyrrell (Calgary, Alberta) recorded four points (3g, 1a) while
Martin Winter (Lake Oswego, Ore.) and
Jon Phillips (Delta, B.C.) each recorded three.
Alex Desmarais (Atkinson, N.H.) made the start in goal for the River Hawks and stopped eight shots.
One Last HurrahSunday's tilt with the Keydets is the final game of UMass Lowell's inaugural Division I season. Due to NCAA rules, the River Hawks may not participate in postseason play until they have four years of Division I experience.

Scott Dalgliesh will be coaching from familiar sidelines on Sunday at Marywood University. Dalgliesh was the Head Coach of the Pacers from 2012-14.
Scouting VMIThe Keydets are winless on the season at 0-14 and finished 0-6 in the SoCon. In their final home game of the season on Sunday, VMI lost 20-6 to Canisius after trailing15-1 at halftime. Junior Dan Bull is the team's leading scorer with 14 points (9g, 5a) and he is tied for the team lead in goals with senior Mike DeBlasio.
