SCOUTING THE RIVER HAWKSThe River Hawks enter Tuesday's action on a four game slump after suffering three consecutive one-run losses after falling 6-5 at Hofstra and Fordham before a 8-7 defeat in 10 innings against Yale on Thursday. In all the team has lost five of its nine games by two runs or less.

SEASON TWODue to the cancellation of what would have been the River Hawks America East Conference opener against UAlbany last weekend, the club will open its AE slate in a three game set at Stony Brook this weekend. In their first season in the conference, the team posted a record of 10-10 which was good for third in the standings and would have placed them in the conference tournament had they been eligible. The River Hawks are not eligible for post-season play until the 2018 season.
ROAD WARRIORSThe River Hawks will commence a stretch of 10 straight road games spanning from March 24-April 8. The team will take on Bryant, Northeastern, Stony Brook, Rhode Island, Binghamton, and Brown in that time.Â
LAST TIME AGAINST THE BULLDOGSThe Bulldogs hold a slight 1-0 advantage after taking the first meeting in the series over the River Hawks last year.
Raz Bracha got the starting nod and gave up five runs in 5.2 innings as the bullpen came in for 2.1 shutout innings while
Matthew Sanchez attempted to rally the River Hawks. Sanchez knocked in three RBI but the club ultimately fell short in a 5-4 loss at Conaty Park.
LAST TIME AGAINST THE HUSKIESThe River Hawks trail the Huskies, 1-0, in the series after dropping a 7-3 ballgame at Friedman Diamond as five Huskies picked up RBI's.

LAST TIME AGAINST THE SEAWOLVESThe River Hawks took two of a three game series against Stony Brook when the clubs squared off at LeLacheur Park. The club dropped the series opener 9-3 before rallying back with a 2-1 victory and a 3-1 win in the rubber game.

Joe Consolmagno touched all the bags after hitting the River Hawks first home run of the year last Tuesday at Fordham. Consolmagno lined a 3-run shot over the right field fence at Houlihan Park for his first career homer in what was his 100th career game.
