LOWELL, Mass. – The UMass Lowell women's lacrosse team begins its four-game home stand with a meeting against the Quinnipiac Bobcats Saturday at 1 p.m.

River Hawk Review
The River Hawks fell to Siena 18-1 on March 11. Jesse Jay (Amherst, N.H.) scored the lone goal, her sixth of the season.

Sokol Setting the Standard
Sokol leads the team with seven goals, 19 total shots and 13 shots on goal. Her three assists and 10 points rank second on the team, to Jay's five and 11.

Protecting the Nest
Courtney Barrett (South Burlington, Vt.) leads the America East and is sixth nationally with 67 saves. Her 11.17 saves per game also lead the conference, and rank sixth in the nation. She also has team-highs in ground balls (22) and caused turnovers (10). Barrett is also averaging 3.67 ground balls per game, tied for third in the nation and leading the America East.

Beginning of a New Era
In its first year of competition, UMass Lowell's roster consists of 21 freshmen, two juniors and one sophomore.

Scouting Quinnipiac
The Bobcats are looking for their first win of the season, as well, sitting at 0-6. Kyra Ochwat leads the offense with 15 goals and 19 points. Her four assists are tied for the team lead with Kathleen DeVito. DeVito is second on the team with 12 goals and 16 points. Kylie Larkin and Samantha Tilts have each made three starts in net, with Tilts seeing action is every game. Larkin has a 17.60 goals against average and a .330 save percentage, while Tilts has a 14.40 GAA and .457 save percentage.
