SCOUTING THE RIVER HAWKS

BUSY STRETCH
The River Hawks will play eight games in seven days.

STREAKING
Matthew Sanchez and Danny Mendick have each reached base in all seven games this year and have a hit in six of the clubs games. Going back to last season Sanchez has reached base in 13 straight games and holds a 12-game hit streak while Mendick has now reached base safely in 11 straight with a eight game hit streak.

SHUFFLING THE SCHEDULE
The River Hawks moved Saturday's doubleheader against the Knights to Sunday, March 15th with first pitch of game one scheduled for noon. They also added a game against Hofstra on Monday, March 16th that will be played at Mitchel Park, on the campus of Nassau Community College at 3:30 p.m. The clubs "home opener" against Yale will be played at Fiondella Field on the University of Hartford campus instead of a snow covered LeLacheur Park on Thursday, March 29th at 3 p.m.
