LOWELL, Mass. –
The UMass Lowell men's soccer team travels to Binghamton for its lone game this weekend, October 10 at 7 p.m., each team's second America East game of the season

Looking at the River Hawks
UMass Lowell (5-5-0, 0-1-0 AE) is in the midst of a two-game skid, falling at BU, 1-0 on Sept. 30, and to New Hampshire in the teams' America East opener, 3-1 on Oct. 3. Wuilito Fernandes (Praia, Cape Verde) scored his team-high third goal of the season against the Wildcats, and Austin Kroll (Baltimore, Md.) made five saves to bring his total to 29.

Scouting Binghamton
The Bearcats (6-4-1, 1-0-0 AE) defeated Vermont, 2-1, Oct. 3 to open up conference play, their first win since Sept. 19. Pascal Trappe leads the team with three goals and seven points, along with one assist. He also has two game-winning goals. Logan Roberts has dished out a team-high three helpers, and has five points. Reigning America East Goalie of the Year, Robert Moewes, has a 1.16 goals against average and leads the conference with 45 saves.

Head Coach Christian Figueroa on Binghamton
"Binghamton is a very well organized team with players that buy into their system. Having to go on the road to play them will be a tough task, so we will need to be focused for 90 minutes if we want to get a result."

Series History
Through four games each team has won two each, with the River Hawks winning the last meeting, 2-1, in 2014.

Honors and Awards
Kroll earned America East Co-Player of the Week honors on Sept. 21 … Venta-Yepes was named America East Rookie of the Week on Sept. 14 … Nana Osei (Ewing, N.J.), Jay Marchand (North Andover, Mass.) and Venta-Yepes were all named to the Brooklyn Bridge Cup All-Tournament Team.

Save Some Space in the Record Book
With Kroll's four shutouts this season he has nine career blank sheets, good for fourth place all-time.

Other Notables
The River Hawks are 2-1 this season against teams that made the 2014 NCAA Tournament … the win against LIU Brooklyn on Sept. 6 marked the first win in the series history… the victory over Monmouth on August 28 was the first season-opening win for the River Hawks in the Division I era.
