LOWELL, Mass. -- The UMass Lowell men's soccer team looks to continue on its winning streak with the final two matchups of the season-opening six game road trip.

At the Morgan Stanley Smith Barney Windjammer Classic, the River Hawks outscored opponents 5-1 in a pair of wins and were crowned the champions on goal-differential.

Wuilito Fernandes (Praia, Cape Verde) and Homero Morais (Somerville, Mass.) led the team with two goals apiece, and were both named to the All-Tournament Team. Fernandes was named the tournament MVP.

Keeper Austin Kroll (Baltimore, Md.), who earned his first two career collegiate wins and first shutout joined the duo on the All-Tournament Team, along with Richard Mulo (Malden, Mass.) and Carlos Ruiz (East Boston, Mass.).

Following the weekend, UMass Lowell will play at the friendly confines of Cushing Field for the first time this season with a matchup against Central Connecticut State on Sept 16.
