LOWELL, Mass. – Men's soccer sophomore Wuilito Fernandes has been nominated for the America East Fans' Choice Player of the Year.

With two games to play and the River Hawks sitting in second place, Fernandes leads the team with five goals and 12 points. His two assists are tied for second.

This season Fernandes has started in 13 games, and has been honored by being named to the National College Soccer News Team of the Week on September 8. He was also named the America East Player of the Week on October 27.

In the conference, Fernandes ranks third in goals, second in points,  third in points per game, and first in shots (50).
