LOWELL, Mass. – After a record-breaking performance in the victory over Winthrop on Sunday afternoon, junior Jade Catlin (Middletown, Md.) of the UMass Lowell women's lacrosse team has been named River Hawk of the Week.

Catlin came out firing against the Eagles, scoring a single-game program-record eight goals while also tying the program-high of eight total points. The junior propelled the River Hawk offense in the second quarter, stringing together three goals in nine minutes to tie the game heading into halftime. Later, her fourth-quarter efforts proved to be a game-changer, finding the back of the net four times in the final period, including the eventual game-winning goal.

This marks Catlin's second River Hawk of the Week honor of her career, first winning it on March 14, 2022. 
 
The "River Hawk of the Week" is chosen in voting by the UMass Lowell Athletic Communications staff. It honors the top athlete, male or female, based on performance during the previous week of competition
