Earning his first career weekly honor, Meehan was tabbed the HEA Defender of the Week following a four-point weekend. In Friday's tilt with then-No. 17 Northeastern, Meehan scored the game-winner just 1:26 into overtime to lift the River Hawks over the visiting Huskies in a 2-1 decision. The Massachusetts native also logged an assist on senior Lucas Condotta's (Georgetown, Ontario) game-tying power play goal. The sophomore returned to the ice Saturday to pick up another two points off a power play goal and an assist against then-No. 16 Boston College to cap off his high-scoring weekend. Additionally, Meehan closed out the weekend with a +2 rating and two blocks and sits tied for eighth in the conference in goals by a defenseman.
