Brenna Martini

Brenna Martini enters her fourth year on the River Hawk staff in 2025. Martini, a decorated softball player from Adelphi University, joined her alma mater's coaching staff in 2018. Her efforts helped the program to NE-10 Regular-Season Championships and NCAA Division II Regional appearances in 2019 and 2021. She coached ten All-Conference honorees, including the league's Rookie of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year and Pitcher of the Year, in addition to a NFCA First-Team All-American.

She has also worked with the New York BlueFire Fastpitch Softball organization since 2018 as the head softball trainer, planning practices, analyzing player development and preparing student-athletes for collegiate play.

Martini finished her playing career at Adelphi in 2018 as the program's all-time leader in nearly all offensive categories, including batting average, home runs, RBI, doubles, walks, runs scored and total bases. Her accolades included Northeast-10 Conference Woman of the Year and Adelphi Female Athlete of the Year, in addition to being named the NE10 Player of the Year for three straight seasons, which was a historic accomplishment in the league. A three-time NFCA All-American, she led her team to back-to-back appearances at the Division II Women's College World Series in 2015 and 2016.

Martini earned a bachelor's degree in physical activity studies in 2018, before receiving a master's degree in sport management in 2020 from Adelphi.
