Joining the River Hawk staff as a graduate fellow, Anneka oversees the training of our Field Hockey and Softball programs. Olsen comes from a yearlong internship at Rice University where she worked with the Olympic sports teams. There she assisted the head strength coaches with lifts, which included leading warmups, supervising return to play athletes, and demonstrating and organizing lifts. She also was responsible for the set up and breakdown of sessions and general maintenance of the facility.

Before going to Rice, she completed her bachelor's degree of Strength and Conditioning at Winona State University where she was an intern in the strength and conditioning department for 2 years. She worked with Men's and Women's basketball, Women's volleyball, and programmed and coached for the dance club.

During her time at Rice University, Olsen got her CSCS certification and updated her CPR /AED certification."
