NORTH KINGSTOWN HIGH SCHOOL: Two-year member of the track and field team • Also played four years of varsity field hockey • Member of two Rhode Island State Champion teams in 2007 and 2008 • Scored the game-winner with 17 seconds left in double overtime in the 2008 RI State Championship • Member of the All-Tournament team both years • Second Team All-State in 2007 followed by First-Team selection in 2008 • Team Captain and Most Valuable Player in 2008 • Also played two years of varsity lacrosse • Planned and hosted the first Rhode Island Breast Cancer Awareness Field Hockey Game in the fall of 2008 • Volunteer Coach for the Special Olympics. AS A FRESHMAN: Member of the 2009 field hockey team, saw action in nine of 24 games on the year • Scored first collegiate goal in the River Hawks[apos] 8-1 win at Saint Anselm on Oct. 15.
