Chris Vitullo serves as a Sports Performance Assistant at UMass Lowell, where he directs strength and conditioning for the women’s basketball and women’s lacrosse programs. He also contributes to the department’s athlete-monitoring initiatives and plays a key role in supporting and developing the graduate assistant program.
Chris joined UMass Lowell as a graduate fellow in 2024 before earning a full-time role the following year. He previously led strength and conditioning for women’s lacrosse and assisted with training efforts for track and field, women’s soccer, and men’s and women’s basketball.
Before arriving in Lowell, Chris served as a strength and conditioning graduate assistant at Fairleigh Dickinson University, working with volleyball, men’s soccer, and softball while supporting basketball programming. He began his career with an internship at Brown University, gaining experience across several varsity and club sports.
Chris earned a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from the University of Rhode Island and a master’s degree in exercise science from Merrimack College.
