Biography

BEHN ON BUSHNER: "We are going to count on Sha'Nay for her experience at both ends of the court. She has the athleticism and skills to make things happen."

AS A SENIOR: Played in 26 games with 25 starts • Averaged 9.5 points, 7.8 rebounds and 3.2 steals per a game • Highlights include scoring 19 points and having 13 rebounds in a 71-65 win over Felician • Had a season high 16 rebounds in a 71-56 win over Stonehill.  

AS A JUNIOR: One of two River Hawks to start all 27 games • Led the team with seven double-doubles • Ranked 12th among Northeast-10 Conference rebound leaders (7.3) • Season best include 25 points at Merrimack on Feb. 12; 14 rebounds against Adelphi on Jan. 13.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Starter in 24 of 29 games • Scored in double digits in 13 games with two double-doubles • Ranked 11th among Northeast-10 Conference rebound leaders (6.4) • Season-highs include 21 points in a 79-59 loss at Bentley; 15 rebounds in a 59-52 win at Adelphi • UMass Lowell's scoring leader in eight games • NE-10 Weekly Honor Roll once.

AS A FRESHMAN: Played in 22 games off the bench for the River Hawks • Tallied a season-high two assists on three occasions • Season-best eight points came in the season-opener, a 66-51 win over Felician.

KENMORE HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year player for coach Yontami Jones • Two-time All-City standout • Led KHS to a 24-3 record, City and District championships as well as an appearance in the state regional tournament as a senior • Named Most Valuable Player in the City-Suburban All-Star Game • Defensive MVP, led KHS in rebounds • Also a standout hurdler, won the City 100 meter hurdles title twice • Honor student as a junior and senior • Recipient of KHS Womanhood Award, Ambassador Award for Nursing • Member, National Honor Roll • Participated in Skills USA nursing competition, placed second in the state of Ohio.

PERSONAL: One of four children of Woody and Juanita Wilson of Akron, OH • Nicknamed "Nay Nay" • Influences include Candace Parker, Dwayne Wade, LeBron James • Lists Cleveland Cavaliers as favorite NBA team • Majoring in Liberal Arts.
