Biography

2017-18 Season: Wilson registered a career-high 16 points and eight goals in his junior year. He tallied 12 points (5g,7a) in 22 conference games. Had points in 13 contests this year, which included three multi-point efforts. UMass Lowell was 9-4-0 when Wilson scored a point last year. 

2016-17 Season: Wilson has amassed 14 points (6g,8a) in 39 games for the River Hawks in his sophomore year. Recorded his first career goal on Oct. 8th vs. Minnesota-Duluth at the Tsongas Center. Had a point in 13 games this season with a career-high two points (1g,1a) on Oct. 14th at Colorado College. The River Hawks were 11-1-1 when Wilson scored a point and 5-0-1 when he scored a goal. Had a plus or even rating in 32 of 39 games.

2015-16 Season: Wilson appeared in 27 games in his freshman campaign and had three assists to his credit. Made his collegiate debut on October 9th vs. Rensselaer. Recorded his first collegiate point with an assist on January 16th vs. UMass. Had a career-high five shots on goal vs. UMass on February 19th. Skated in 12 of the last 13 games for the River Hawks.

Canmore Eagles: Appeared in 173 games during his three seasons with the Canmore Eagles of the AJHL ... the team captain led the Eagles in scoring with 67 points (25g, 42a) during the 2014-15 regular season ... he is a former Canmore Eagle Rookie of the Year and Academic Award winner. 

Personal: Son of Julie and Paul ... hobbies include playing bass guitar and baseball ... lists the Calgary Flames and Toronto Blue Jays as his favorite sports teams ... favorite TV shows are True Detective, Homeland and Breaking Bad ... Jarome Iginla is his favorite sports figure ... chose UMass Lowell because of the people he met while visiting the school, “they cared about me as a person.” ... his greatest sports moments include scoring the winning goal in triple overtime in a Pee Wee Championship game and getting four goals in a game with Canmore ... majoring in Business.
