Jon Krebser enters his fourth season as the Director of Operations for the women's basketball program in 2020-21.
Krebser is responsible for coordinating all travel, meals, housing, non-conference scheduling, yearly budget projections, practice scheduling, lodging, community service outreach, and equipment ordering.
Krebser came to UMass Lowell after spending one year working in Sports Operations at the University of Washington (Seattle, WA).
At UW, Krebser helped run the UW Football Gameday Sustainability Team, submit NCAA bids to host post season tournaments, sat on the gender equity sub committee, scheduled the volleyball retrieval team, and was the Assistant Tournament Director for the 2017 NCAA Men’s Golf Sammamish Regional at Aldera Golf Club. He also served as the official’s liaison during the 2017 NCAA Women’s Basketball Seattle Regional and during the 2017 NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Seattle Regional.
Prior to working at the University of Washington, Krebser spent two seasons working as a Video Analyst within the Portalnd Trailblazer scouting department. During that time the Blazers went 85 – 79 making the playoffs each year.
Krebser coached high school men’s basketball for 8 years, 2 as a head coach. He won his district's coach of the year honors while serving as a head coach at Oakville High School (WA), and placed 2nd in the 2A WIAA State Championship in 2012-13 as an assistant coach at Anacortes High School (WA).
Krebser earned a Bachelor’s degree from Evergreen State University (WA) in 2012, majoring in television and film production. He later earned a Masters of Science in Athletic Leadership, focusing in Athletic Administration from Castleton University (VT) in 2016.
Krebser has a wife, Danielle, and a daughter, Parker.
