Thomas-Palmer enters her first season as an assistant coach for UMass Lowell during the 2021-22 season. Dating back to their time at Hofstra, Thomas-Palmer was the director of operations under Denise King in the 2015-16 season, during which the Pride earned its second consecutive 20-win season, posting a 25-9 record, including a 14-1 mark at home. That season, Hofstra earned a berth to the WNIT for the second straight year, advancing through the first three rounds.

Before that, she starred as a player at Hofstra, appearing in 86 career games from 2012 to 2015. A prominent reserve, Thomas-Palmer averaged 6.7 points and 1.7 rebounds during her three years with the Pride. Her senior season was highlighted by playing in all three CAA Championship games, most notably logging six minutes at Penn in the WNIT first round matchup.

Thomas-Palmer most recently spent the past year working as an assistant athletic director at Germantown Friends School in Philadelphia, Pa. There she provided administrative support to the athletic director, coaching staffs, while acting as a liaison to the faculty, staff, student-athletes and parents.

A native of the Philadelphia area, Thomas-Palmer graduated from Hofstra in May of 2016 with a degree in public relations before receiving her masters in sports business from Temple in the winter of 2020.
